Charity Donations
As one of the first projects in the NFT space to donate a big part of their funds, we again wanted to donate 10% of the funds collected through the CyberKongz VX mint to impactful charities!
We have donated to Orangutan Outreach (https://redapes.org) in the past and a lot of other projects followed our example,
This time we chose two different charities!
We donated 20 ETH (64,564$) to COTAP.org

The mission of Carbon Offsets To Alleviate Poverty (COTAP) is to empower individuals and organizations in developed countries to address both climate change and global poverty. COTAP counteracts your carbon emissions through certified forestry projects in least-developed regions which create transparent, accountable, and life-changing earnings for rural farming communities where income levels are less than $2 per day.
This donation will offset the environmental impact through carbon emissions caused by the CyberKongz VX smart contract by a factor of 10! (4304 tonnes of CO2)

Our second donation was 50 ETH (161,412$) to Virunga National Park

Virunga National Park, Africa’s most biodiverse protected area, exists to protect 1/3 of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas, over one thousand species of mammal, bird, reptile, and amphibian, and provide a brighter future to more than four million people affected by conflict.
As lovers of all wildlife we of course wanted to do our part to help endangered species and we hope to inspire a lot of people to follow suit once more!
